BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — After a narrow race for the District 3 seat on the Boise City Council, a recount has confirmed the election results.
Kathy Corless has won the seat, narrowly defeating Josh Johnston by only 15 votes. The numbers remained the same from the election night count to the recount, 2,566 for Corless, and 2,551 for Johnston.
The Ada County Elections Office conducted the recount of all 16 precincts, which was overseen by the Attorney General's Office.
